He is home!!!

Thank you all for your prayers and hugs, my son came home today, he is fine. He's lost probably 10 pounds and doesn't look like he's slept in a month---but he survived on the kindness of friends and only spent one night in the cold. Now that I am relieved and happy he is home, it's time to start thinking options for him--something that will work and keep him on the straight and narrow. I am not putting him back into the treatment center, we'll work on an out patient basis and try and get the help he needs that way. Thank you again for your prayers and kind words, I am going to actually sleep tonight, I think. Lord knows I can use more than 2-3 hours of sleep!!!

Marsailis,

I am so happy your son is home and safe!! thanks for stopping by my blog. Sounds like you need PQP everyday no matter what time it is that you finally get it!!

I only have one child, a son, who turns 21 in August! Wooohhoo! I thought one of us would be dead before we got through the teen years. They were tough! I know what you are going through.. Hang in there! God has a plan for your DS, he just has to figure out how to read the map..

In the meantime you are his GPS guiding his way.

Raising boys is difficult, at best. Stay strong and let your son know that you love him no matter what he does or what happens. As Annie says, there is a plan. We wish we knew it at times but we don't. Prayers for you both.

I am really glad your son is back and is fine. Such a horrible thing to have to go through. You must be incredibly strong.
